The New Mythology

I am all for creating for creation sake.  Art for the beautification of the spirit and soul.  To liberate and break the bonds of oppression and slavery. Why don't we take it up a notch? We did it as children, remember? We created characters for ourselves, be it Batman, Superman or a Jedi Knight, or a self-created superhero.  Why not do the same thing now?  Now we don't have to wear a costume or conceal our identity to create a new image of ourselves.  Let go.  And find out what really drives you.  Will you chose the forces of light?  Or darkness?  Don't force the issue, let whatever comes out, be alive.  The trick is of course, not telling anybody.  Feel what it would like to possess that sort of power you've always wanted. With this power you can fight the monsters that plague your conscious, the fears that evade reason and logic. Let the sword cut deep the fears that continue to pervade even your most staunchest efforts.  You have the true power to destroy it now.  Destroy and leave it behind you. Consider your new identity a tool, a tool and a weapon to strengthen yourself and to protect others.  A new found confidence will emit from you.  Just a thought.
